At the end of the XIX century our house belonged to Agnes and Paul Wittwer.
They had 12 children. One of them was a daughter named Margaret. After II World War Lower Silesia was included in Poland
and Margaret fell in love with a Polish soldier from Luck in Ukraine - Janek Kowalski.
All of Greta's family was deported
to Germany, with one exception - Margarete. All because Janek hid Greta in the attic of his friends' house in the
neighboring village and went to Warsaw to get permission to marry a German woman. It went well.
They settled in Wittwer's family house.
Janek & Greta lived happily ever after. They had 5 children and a lot of grandchildren. One of them is me - Kris. So the name of the house is dedicated to Grandma Greta.

I met my future wife Ewelina at the railway station in Quetta in Pakistan. From that moment onwards we always travel together. We visited a lot of countries, before we came to believe that Poland is beautiful.
After studies we decided to use our experience and make a place where a person can feel close to nature, being overpowered with the charm of this place, the charm of tradition...

In der Nähe Villa Greta sind Riesengebirge.
