The Forge of Old Crafts is a meticulously restored historic building, in which until the 80s of the twentieth century. There was a real forge
Figural gingerbread is a combination of passion for art and respect for old traditions
based on the old recipe you will learn the forgotten art of Traditional Gingerbread Making
The lecturers combined passion for art with the idea of slow-food – honey comes from our own apiary, spices are carefully selected, and flour is imported from a trusted mill
There is no place for rush here, because any handicrafts take time
The workshop produces not only traditional long-maturing dough but also beautifully carved, wooden gingerbread forms

At the workshop:

you will learn the history of gingerbread and the art of woodcarving (precise sculpting)
roll out the gingerbread ball and manually press them into wooden forms made by Zenek from pear wood, ps. Ask at the workshop why pear :-)
Then gently remove the dough from the mold and put the cakes on a baking tray and in the oven
After baking gingerbread, you can eat or take with you small artworks

Highlights:

it is necessary to reserve a place, otherwise there may be no vacancies or we will not be able to inform you about the cancellation of classes
For a group of at least 10 people, it is possible to set a convenient date
