  • April – June
    10am. – 6pm. (the last admission at 5pm.)
  • July – August
    9am. – 7pm. (the last admission at 6pm.)
  • September – October
    9am. – 5pm. (the last admission at 4pm.)
  • November – March
    10am. – 5pm. (the last admission at 4pm.)
  • admission with a guide is at every full hour, more often during the season
  • the maximum number of a group: 40 people

VISITING LICZYRZEPA URANIUM MINE IN KOWARY


  • the length of the route is 1200m, without elevation differences
  • visiting time is about 1h
  • WARM CLOTHES ARE NECESSARY (temp. 8 degrees C, humidity 97%)
  • the mine is available for disabled tourists and families with prams/pushchairs
  • the route holds a safety certificate, which allows children and pregnant women to visit the mine
  • the ticket office and car park are about 500m, that is 10 minute walk from the entrance to the mine
  • the ticket price includes: the reenactment of an explosion in the mine face, laser show
  • Liczyrzepa Mine is located several hundred metres from Podgórze Mine

  • Villa Greta’s guests receive 10% discount on prices from the pricelist
  • normal ticket: 23 PLN (6€)
  • reduced ticket: 21 PLN (6€) (children under 18, pensioners, disability pensioners)
  • children under 6: 1 PLN (0,25€)
  • car park 8 PLN (2€)
  • toilets are included in the ticket price, they are directly next to the entrance to the adit

The entrance to Liczyrzepa mine is directly next to Jelenia Struga hotel.

Parking kopalni Liczyrzepa w Kowarach

Getting from the car park to Liczyrzepa Mine takes about 15 minutes. The car park is paid. NOTE!! If you go to Podgórze Adit (free car park), you should turn right according to signs. The car park employees dishonestly inform about the ban on entry to the upper car park.
