the current shape is the result of the baroque reconstruction that took place in 1735
before World War II, the church of St. Idziego played a very important role because Dobków was a Catholic enclave in the region, where Holy Masses were regularly held.
the church until 1810 belonged to the Cistercian Order, as evidenced by the cross with two arms placed on the roof from the east
in its interior it hides many interesting elements, but the most valuable are a beautifully decorated stone baptismal font from the second half of the seventeenth century and a gothic Pietà from the sixteenth century
in addition, it is worth paying attention to the Baroque altars and figures of saints, as well as to the old benches that have been preserved on the galleries
Holy Mass is held on Sundays at 11:00 AM.
On other days, the church is closed, but you can arrange with the church warden for individual access to the church for sightseeing.
