Walim Adits or Rzeczka Complex – a mysterious, underground city built during World War II by Nazi Germany.
The adit of the Rzeczka complex in Walim cannot be entered with animals.

- from 1943 in the Owl Mountains, the Germans carried out large-scale construction works under the code name Riese (Giant)
- the route made available to tourists is the “Rzeczka” complex
- the construction was never completed, and to this day the mystery of the purpose of the investment has not been solved
- it could have been the construction of underground armaments factories or quarters for the supreme command of the Third Reich.
- The Riese complex is also a monument to thousands of victims, builders of adits – prisoners of the Groß Rosen concentration camp
- The 500-meter underground tourist route has been enriched with audiovisual effects referring to the times of World War II and works carried out during the drilling of corridors
- you will visit the complex only with a guide, the whole tour lasts about 1 h
- in the tunnels the temperature is 7 degrees all year round, dress warmly
- in the case of heavy tourist traffic, you can wait up to 1 h for a guide
