REMARK! The ruins of Gryf Castle are private property, currently inaccessible to visitors (information from July 2022)
As of April 2023, the castle remains closed due to ongoing archaeological work (not visible from the outside) and planned reconstruction agreed upon with the heritage conservator. Many interesting facts and updates about the castle’s current status can be found on its Facebook page, “Zamek Gryf.” Plans include rebuilding part of the castle, securing the ruins, and eventually opening it for regular visits.

The castle is privately owned, we do not know precise information explaining the reasons for the closure of such an interesting attraction of Lower Silesia.
