Time Gates, or the Gates of Time, the mystery and history of the largest underground in the Giant Mountains.

- you will go on a 300-year journey deep into the past and future of Lower Silesia
- the guided tour is bristling with stories, legends and scientific curiosities
- along the way you’ll see an exhibition of documents from the time of the facility’s expansion (1944-45) and “Treasures of the Sudetes” featuring the most interesting minerals you can find in the region, which have contributed to the area’s wealth for centuries
- there are two routes to choose from:
– historical – 1,200 meters of underground exploration with stories about the history, legends, and extraordinary events from Lower Silesia’s past; duration: 45 minutes
– scientific – a demonstration of Poland’s largest Tesla Coil and an engaging physics and chemistry lesson, amazing experiments with liquid nitrogen; duration: 40 minutes - it is worth being reasonable when walking with small children, they may be afraid of darkness and noise and make sightseeing difficult for others
