Information

the workshop is conducted by Marcin Jaśkiewicz – geologist by education and passion
workshops consist of two parts: in the field and in the stonemason’s workshop
You will meet Marcin in a closed quarry in Lubiechowa where you will spend approx. 2 h in search of minerals
Then, you will drive 10 km in your own cars to the workshop, where Marcin will cut the stones, and you will personally grind and polish the nicer ones.
in the quarry Marcin will briefly explain where agates and amethysts came from in the Land of Extinct Volcanoes
will demonstrate rocks in which there are agates
the guide guarantees safety glasses and hammers
in sunny weather, each participant should have a headdress and water
In winter, Marcin runs workshops for schools and kindergartens throughout Poland.
